ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition 2010 results - February 12

Alpha Academy began today's fixture with a 1 - 0 victory over Immaculate through a Shanakay Reid's goal. The Mona - Papine (Boys) game was postponed.

Papine High (Girls) then began their title defense by defeating Campion College 4 - 0 with a hat-trick from Tashana Edwards and one goal from Chakiria Airey. In the day's final game, Andre Bromly's goal gave Tivoli a 1 - 0 victory against Campion College (Boys).

The competition continues on Monday February 15 with three games

ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition 2010 results - February 10

Wolmers Girls started the day's fixture with a 1 - 0 victory against Campion College through a Kaseta Miller's goal. Excelsior and Kingston College then played to a goalless draw. A goal from Kemar Richards gave Jamaica College a 1 - 0 victory in the day's final game against Wolmers Boys. The scheduled game between Papine High and St. Andrew Technical High has been postponed. 
Competition continues on Friday with four games commencing at 1:15pm.

ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition 2010 results - February 9

Munro College began their defense of the ISSA/JHF High Schools Hockey (Boys) title with a 5 - 0 victory over Campion College who were a late replacement for Tivoli Gardens. Amier Miller's hat-trick and a brace from Brandon Clarke secured the points for Munro. In the second game of the day, St. Andrew and Excelsior played to a goalless draw in the girls division.

Competition continues tomorrow with four games commencing at 1:00pm.

ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition 2010 results - February 15

Both defending champions were 2 - 0 victors in today's ISSA/JHF Schools Under-19 Hockey Competition.

Papine High with goals from Tashana Edwards and Therice Williams defeated Wolmers Girls in the first game. Brandon Clarke and Leighton Thorpe netted for Munro College in the final game against Kingston College.

The competition will continue on Monday February 22.

DEFENDING champions Papine High will take on Alpha Academy in the first game of a double-header in the ISSA/JHF Under-19 Schoolgirl semi-final today at 3:00 pm at Mona.

At 4:15 pm, St Andrew High tackle Excelsior in the other semi-final.

Munro, JC in U-19 hockey final

DEFENDING champions Munro College will face Jamaica College (JC) in the final of the ISSA/JHF Schools Under-19 League next week Wednesday at Mona after semi-final victories last Tuesday.

Brandon Clarke added his sixth goal of the season when he scored in the 39th minute for Munro -- who are seeking their fifth consecutive Under-19 title -- to clip Wolmer's Boys 1-0, while Kemar Mitchell completed a hat-trick for JC who blanked Tivoli Gardens High 3-0.

ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition 2010 result - March 15

Excelsior captured the bronze medal in this year's ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition (U19) with a 2-0 victory over Alpha Academy with a brace from Krystal Barrett. 

The boy's 3rd place game will be played on Wednesday March 17 at 1:00pm.

ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition 2010 result - March 17

Defending champions, Papine High and Munro College retained their titles in the ISSA/JHF Schools Hockey Competition (U19) with 1 - 0 victories today. Tashauna Edwards 28th minute goal secure the victory for Papine against St. Andrew. In the day's final game, Shea Chambers, 35th minute goal gave Munro the victory against Jamaica College.

Earlier, Wolmer's secured 3rd place through a walkover against Tivoli.

The U16 section of the tournament will commence on April 28, 2010.
