Facilities repairs program
The Jamaica Hockey Federation has embarked on a million dollar repair to the hockey facilities at Mona. These repairs became necessary because of damage by hurricanes Ivan and Dean, motor vehicle accidents, acts of vandalism and normal wear.
This undertaking includes the following:
The entire chain link fence around the complex and the inner fence around the turf will be re-aligned, gates replaced and some......

ISSA/JHF U16 Schools Hockey Competition 2008
Papine doubles
Papine has done something no other schools has done. They took the double in both boys and girls 2008 under-16 competition. On Friday Papine defeated Munro College 1-0. Mona took the bronze. Earlier in the week the girls beat defending champions St. Andrew 1-0.

During the Women’s Olympic Qualifying tournament in Victoria (Canada), the FIH will organize, in
close cooperation with Field Hockey Canada, the 4th World Youth Hockey Promoters Festival for
young people between the ages 15 and 21. This festival is only for very special young people -
Youth Hockey Promoters selected by National Associations.
