JHF Skill Standard test
As part of the ongoing coaching development program Dr. Michelle Holt has developed the Standard Test wish she has kindly agreed to share with the Jamaica Hockey Federation.
JHF Women's National Programme starts on December 5
The Jamaica Hockey Federation (JHF) commences it's women's national U16 & U2 1/Senior Programmes with Saturday Camps and Clinics at the Mona Astroturf, starting December 5th, 2009. These Camps /Clinics are in preparation for the CAC games, July 2010 and the Junior Pan American games in 2012.
Coaches of women's teams from Schools, tertiary institutions and clubs have been targeted to participate in these initial camps and players at all levels are invited. The players will continue their preparation in their Club and school trainings.
In March 2010, the squad for the National Senior Team will be selected along with the coaching and management staff. Players selected must pass Standard Test Level 1 & 2. The junior players will remain in camps throughout 2010 and 2011.
Dr. Michelle Holt, our gold medal coach for the 1990 CAC games will lead the camps and clinics.
